Gratitude cards for my parents in law :)

I just love these two card, I made them using the STAMPlorations digital stamps when I entered their DT call 🙂

For the yellow card I used Distress Inks for the background blending Mustard Seed and Wild Honey then I stamped my background stamp using the  black pigment ink and heat embossed it with the clear embossing powder. The rose is also from the STAMPlorations digital stamps I just love it! I coloured it using my Memento Lady bug marker and my green Pro marker. I went with a black frame around the central sentiment and added a bit of the shading around the sentiment using Mustard Seed ink. I just love how it turned out.

For the red card, I basically layered various colours of card stock red, black and white, I just love how simple layering give this gorgeous elegant effect, and added a pink rose this time, after I read that deep pink is the colour of gratitude.

I made these two cards for my parents in law as a thank you for all they have done for me and my husband during the passing year. They are fantastic people, amazing parents, great friends and such sweethearts both of them! They have huge hearts and they deserve everything that is great in this world!

We love them very much and we are very happy that we can spend time with them so often!

We wish you both a Super Happy New Year and once again THANK YOU SO MUCH  for everything you have done for us, for your support, help and love you gave us !

Last Christmas card :)

With this project I finish up my Christmas card making period.

I used the cuttlebug die cuts here, it was hard to adjust where I want them, as you know they are not frame die cuts but full metal ones so I got a bit off with one of my “stamps” but I still think the card looks neat! I went with the traditional Xmas colours red and green, I could not resist using my new stamp set Critters in the ‘burbs and the Winter Penguin stamp set, both from Lawn Fawn. I added the red framing inside my windows and that was it.

All the positioning and cutting was not easy but it turned out very nice I think 🙂

I am looking forward to getting some better die cuts of regular shapes and just the thin ones, better to work with and easier to work with first of all 🙂

Partial die cutting Hello card

A few days ago I discovered this awesome new technique where you partially die cut your greeting or whatever else you want to die cut, and make it be still attached to your card piece! Looks awesome and unique – gives a great effect!

I mentioned many time how much I love the Lawn Fawn stamps! I will do it again! I LOVE LAWN FAWN stamps! 😉 This Christmas my wonderful husband made it happen and I received the most wonderful gifts a crafter can imagine – stamp sets 🙂 In my case a dream came true and I received several Lawn Fawn stamp sets!

I was, and still am, thrilled to have gotten them! So many ideas jumped into my head right away and I could not wait to create!

This is my first project I made using my new stamp set  – Critters in the ‘Burbs. I just love these animals! SO CUTE! I also very much appreciate and enjoy the humour Lawn Fawn stamps provide 🙂

For colouring I used my ProMarkers, and for stamping the images I used Memento Tuxedo black ink.

For the die cut I also used the Lawn Fawn – Hello die cut.

I decided to colour the dog yellow in memory of my dog Sonia. She passed away 7 years ago but was such a sweet and smart dog. I will never forget her she is burned into my memory and it still now brings tears to my eyes when I think what a wonderful dog she was and how much I still miss her!

Silver Baubles

Hello again!

First day of the New Year! We all plan to be better, healthier, happier.. I wish for all of us to succeed in everything we set our minds on !

My new Christmas card, Silver Baubles 🙂

Here I used my WoW silver embossing powder I think it gave a striking result with the shiny baubles! 🙂 The white and silver against the red background looks very elegant and I just loved that scandinavian pattern from my cArt-us stamp set – scandinavian. The sentiment is from Hero Arts – Decorate Your Holiday stamp set as well as the baubles. For stamping the pattern I used Memento Lady Bug Red ink pad and I heat embossed the sentiment with a clear embossing powder over the black pigment ink.
