Partial die cutting Hello card

A few days ago I discovered this awesome new technique where you partially die cut your greeting or whatever else you want to die cut, and make it be still attached to your card piece! Looks awesome and unique – gives a great effect!

I am entering this card into the CASethissketch # 104 card challenge:

As well as showcase challenge #5 die cut SYSC5 - theme

I mentioned many time how much I love the Lawn Fawn stamps! I will do it again! I LOVE LAWN FAWN stamps! 😉 This Christmas my wonderful husband made it happen and I received the most wonderful gifts a crafter can imagine – stamp sets 🙂 In my case a dream came true and I received several Lawn Fawn stamp sets!

I was, and still am, thrilled to have gotten them! So many ideas jumped into my head right away and I could not wait to create!

This is my first project I made using my new stamp set  – Critters in the ‘Burbs. I just love these animals! SO CUTE! I also very much appreciate and enjoy the humour Lawn Fawn stamps provide 🙂

For colouring I used my ProMarkers, and for stamping the images I used Memento Tuxedo black ink.

For the die cut I also used the Lawn Fawn – Hello die cut.

I decided to colour the dog yellow in memory of my dog Sonia. She passed away 7 years ago but was such a sweet and smart dog. I will never forget her she is burned into my memory and it still now brings tears to my eyes when I think what a wonderful dog she was and how much I still miss her!

Thank you for stopping by!

Take good care of yourselves and see you again very soon!

  1. Beautiful card as always and so sweet. I love Sonia, she has such a sweet face… I wish I had met her, but in a way she lives on in my heart too… Thanks for sharing her with me. 🙂 One day she’s going to be reborn in a new puppy just at the perfect time and perfect place, I can just feel it. 🙂
