Copic Hair colouring and a card video

Hi guys!

Here is my new card and a card video. This was my first time colouring with my Copic Ciao’s on a video I hope I did a good enough job to hep you out.

I love Copics and I will definitely be buying more of them. I love the brush tip and how easily they blend. For this card I went with something different, and I made the coloured  a focal point. This cute little girl is an image from Tidly Inks – Little Claire – Party Time . For the rest of her outfit I used Pro Markers. The other images and papers are from the Bo Bunny pattern paper collection – Lemonade Stand which I absolutely love!

Colouring and pattern paper

Hello crafty friends!

I would like to share with you a card I made using the latest sketch from Retro Sketches

rs174

I had so much fun creating this card! First I created the front panel adhering various stripes of pattern paper I went with the rainbow order 🙂

Then I run in through my die cut machine and added some stitching on top and bottom using Lawn Fawn stitched borders die. Then I trimmed a piece of craft cardstock – actually a Neenah Desert Storm card stock and I stamped the sentiment – hi – from Simon Says Stamp – Music to My Ears set. One of the HI I stamped off on a piece of white cardstock and then adhered it using a foam square on my panel. Finally I added a stitched border using my Signo white gel pen all over the middle panel.

I then coloured in my little boy – Alto – digi stamp from Greeting Farm I got for free by subscribing ot the newsletter.  I coloured the little boy using Pro Markers and for the hair I used Copics combination I used: E35, E25, E29 and E49. I adhered the image on the front panel and lastly I added the Doodlebug twine and created a bow 🙂

I do not own anything from SSS just yet and so you can only imagine how happy I was to receive a goodie bag from them! Because it was so special of a win for me I decided to share it with you in a form of a video

novemberkitblog

I received one of the older card kits from November 2012! I was so happy to get so many goodies from SSS! Even though the kit was on the toned down colour side –  I found myself having so much fun creating cards using it! I really enjoyed playing with the goodies and coming up with the card ideas. Here are the two cards I made so far using this kit.

My new scene card

Hello!

I made this card a few days ago. I decided to create a scene using my Critters in the ‘Burbs stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I used my Distress Inks for the background Salty Ocean and Shabby Shutters. I stamped the grass in Mawed Lawn. I also used Mawed Lawn and Peacock Feathers to blend the the tree crowns. I love the colour I got from mixing these two colours! I stamped the trees and flowers and the birds first and then stamped them again on another piece of card stock, coloured them and adhered them to add dimension.

I coloured the birds using my Pro Markers and the sentiment is from Hero Arts stamp set – Friends. I love this stamp set there are so many great sentiments there for tons of different cards 🙂

To finish off I added some apples on my trees by adhering some stick on pearls  in red.
