Hearty Valentine’s day card

Hello !

Today I have for you another card with hearts… It can be a Valentine’s Day card or it can be a card to simply let someone know you think and care about them… OR LOVE that special somebody (with all these hearts it’s a clear message 🙂

I used an embossing folder to create all the hearts and then I blended Distress Inks – Barn Door and Festive Berries on top. In certain places I added also my white gel pen to pop some areas on the hearts. I like experimenting lately, but oh well sometimes it is frustrating when you have an idea in your head and it just doesn’t come out as you expected haha I must say it is not as easy as it looks to blend the darker colors on the embossed areas without smudging! Originally I wanted to have the background white and just the hearts in red but that turned out to be almost impossible… I decided to have it all red and I like the look, I like that the hearts have different intensity of red on them, and a red halo around all the hearts.

Butterfly heart

Hello everybody!

Still continuing the Valentine’s card theme, I have for you a CAS card made using one of my favourite dies by Memory Box – Butterfly Heart, with many tiny butterflies that make out a heart. I used 4 different shades of pink and red gradually getting darker towards the top. I then added some Wink of Stella to give them a bit of sparkle and then used one of my stamps from the xmas stamp set to stamp a word love.

Valentine’s day shaker card

Hello and welcome to another blog post.

This time I decided to make a shaker card, I also had this left over gorgeous pattern paper with all these cute colourful hearts and so I put together this card:

I hope you can see the Wink of Stella on some of the heart inside the shaker 🙂 I just love Lawn Fawn stamps and all these little hearts that come in different stamp sets not always related to valentines but are jus there for you to use and combine! 🙂 I cut out these tiny little hearts inside the shaker, using my corner punch.
