Scene Easter card + video

Hello dear crafty friends!

I would like to share with you another set of Easter cards I have made recently.

I wanted to create a fun Easter scene. For this I used stamps from Lawn Fawn and Avery Elle’s latest stamp set – Woodland Wonders which I think is super adorable and I love the critters in it!

I coloured all the images using alcohol markers, ProMarkers and Copics and I also created by own background and added some hillsides using stitched hillside borders dies from Lawn Fawn. All the supplies are listed at the bottom of the post as well as in the description below my YouTube video.

I really like how the cards turned out and I hope you will check out the video so see the process of them being created 🙂

cards for Gerda Steiner DT call

Hello guys!

Today I have for you something special! Maybe you will think meh nothing new … 😉 But to me me all of this is new as I am trying to use my Pro Markers on bigger images and I must say I am having tons of fun colouring! I cannot believe it is only now that I discovered digi stamps and how much fun it is to colour them in! Ok only recently I added more pro markers to my collection so that I could do more shading but still – great fun!

Se here are a few cards I made using Gerda Steiner digi stamps. They are super cute and I just  could not decide which card to add for the DT call! I though oh well I will show you all of them 🙂 I simply could not stop creating, I had so many ideas, and I still do but my day run out and I decided I will add the card today.

So I made three cards.

For the first on I sed two digi stamps together – Balloons for you – which I purchased – it was just so cute!- and Birthday Bear which was a free stamp. If you know my cards you also know that I just love colours! I cannot live without them 🙂

SO for this card I went oh well – crazy with colours 😀 I have created the background using masking tape and distress inks, you might have seen me do that previously – I love that technique! What I also love it shaker cards and so this one became one also! I used Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord and Salty Ocean distress inks. I then printed out, coloured in and adhered on my card two of those lovely images from Gerda Steiner! The bear is so adorable and since I just have one shade of brown I decided to colour him in using yellows plus I added a little red bow from Lawn Fawn set I had. I added wink of stella and glossy accents on the balloons and his hat. Then for the cute little girl I also winked 😉 and glossied the balloons! For the sentiment I decided to use a happy birthday from Lawn Fawn chit chat stamp set which I got recently, I stamped it in Hero Arts – Tide Pool. I added some die cut stars in the middle and that was that!

For the second one I also went with a shaker card. This time adding lots of sequins form my stash, Happy Birthday To You sentiment from the Avery Elle stamp set – cake and candles. AND for the star of the card a cute peaking panda! Isn’t he just adorable? I had to make his nose blue because my panda also has the same nose – check the pic 😉 I created the window for the shaker by cutting it out myself here (for the first card I used circle die cuts). What I usually do it place all the stuff that go inside the shaker on the surface in the middle and then add the window with foam tape on top of it, that way I can see exactly where to adhere it! 🙂 And of course I used the wink of stella all over the panda 🙂

The last card was more CAS I guess. I created the stripe using a stencil and distress inks and then adhered the girl with balloons using the foam squares. I distressed the sentiment a bit and popped it on there as well. To finish the card off I used some wink of stella and added the card front on top of the lilac card base. I love this Scrapberry’s stencil pattern, and look at that little girl and her goldie locks 😉
