Interactive window card

Hello friends!

Today I have for you yet another cardmaking video. This time I wanted to share with you a cool real window card that I came up with while filming 🙂

Don’t you just love it when you come up with the better idea that you had originally? I love it. For this card I had a general idea where I wanted to go with it but I am glad I came up with the actual window part I think it added a lot interest to the card. I know I would be super happy if I received an interactive card 🙂

I hope you like it and if you are curious about how it was made check out my video – as it is kind of hard to describe this mechanism – it is not difficult at all but easier to see it being done I think then read about it. I just love how the animals are so cute that you would want to let them in 🙂

Here is the video and the supply list is at the bottom of the page!

Addicted to Stamps and More

Hello friends!

Today I have for you card I made for Addicted to Stamps and More challenge’s design team this week.

I got out of my comfort zone and I created a CAS card as that is the theme this week down at ATSM!

The sponsor this week is the super awesome

bugaboo new logo

And the prize is 7 digi stamps!
For my card I went with an idea I had in my head for a while. I bought these new stamp sets from Lawn Fawn and I realized I did not use them enough. So for this card I went with Let’s BBQ stamp set.
I coloured the images using both Pro Markers and Stabilo 68 pens. I was working on a thick watercolour paper. I then used my brush and watercoloured some grass and sky. To finish off the card I used the Lawn Fawn stitched borders die and added a little interest.

Through the Craft Room Door inspirational card

Hello crafty friends!

Today I have for you a card I made for Through the Craft Room Door challenge’s design team this week.

Sponsor this week is  Sami Stamps and the prize is $12 voucher to the Etsy shop with all the beautiful digi stamps!

For my card I used Sami Stamps digi stamp – Birthday Girl. I created the background using Distress Inks – Mustard Seed, Crushed Olive an Mowed Lawn. Then I stamped the sentiment from Avery Elle – Cake and Candles using my Archival inks Manganese Blue and Deep Purple creating an ombre effect.

I then stamped a few confetti and added a “stitched” frame using my UNI ball Signo white gel pen.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Any comments are greately appreciated!

Butterflies embossed in watercolour

Hello friends!

Today I have for you a birthday card! I loved making this one and I am happy with how it turned out in the end. If you saw my previous card in my previous post 🙂 I also used these gorgeous butterflies from Bo Bunny stamp set – Flutter. Forst I stamped them using Versa Fine onyx black ink – very good ink for embossing as it takes a little longer to dry. I then heat embossed them in Wow clear embossing powder. After that I coloured the butterflies with my Stabilo 68 pens and then sprayed the whole panel generously with water (I used watercolour paper – 300 gsm ).

I cut the panel across 4 times to get these two stripes of butterflies which I adhered on my Neenah Desert Storm card base. I then added a stitched frame using my Uni ball Signo white gel pen – I am obsessed with the stitched line lately 🙂 I then stamped the sentiment from Avery Elle – cake and candles – one of my favourite stamp sets for birthdays. I created an ombre effect using Archival inks – Manganese Blue and Deep Purple. I think it looks so cool against the “craft” cardstock. I then added some sequins coordinating with the colours of butterflies and the card was finished! Let me know what you think!

Butterfly card with lots of embossing

Hi guys!

Today I would like to share with you an inspirational card I made for the last challenge on Sister Act card challenge.

Unfortunately August 21th will be our last challenge for now come and join us – Anything Goes!

First I created the background using Bo Bunny stamps – Flutter. I used three different sizes of butterflies and stamped them all around the watercolour paper in Versa Fine onyx black ink. I then heat embossed them with Wow clear embossing powder. After that I used Stabilo 68 pens to colour in the butterflies, then I sprayed the whole page heavily with water so that the colours mix together and create the watercolour look. I then cut the panel across and left the top and bottom part that I added on top of green card base. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from Avery Elle – Cake and Candles. and added some sequins. I also used my black marker to add the frames.

I will be entering this card in the Outlawz card challenges!

Clearly Besotted cards and colouring with Stabilo 68

Hello crafty friends!

Today I would like to finally share with you the cards I made using my new Clearly Besotted stamps. I made two wedding cards using the florals from the Love Quotes II set. Lovely set with great flowers and sentiments, perfect for weddings. I made two video to share with you the process.

First one shows me colouring the flowers and leaves using Stabilo 68 pens as watercolours. You will see the numbers of pens I used in the video.

Second video shows how I created cards using the previously coloured flowers. I really enjoyed creating these cards using Clearly Besotted stamp set I could not believe I only now bought from them! I for some reason thought they were an American brand and I did not want to risk ordering from them because of shipping charges… Turned out they are based in the UK and shipping is amazing! You should definitely check them out I am recommending them only because I truly love them and I think they are great value for money I am not in any way associated with the company.

I really love how the flowers turned out and as you know I love vibrant colours so Stabilo 68 pens are truly my favourite! I am yet to try out the Zig real brush watercolour markers 🙂

I think my favourite is the blue purpled flower 🙂 For the background on that card I used Jennifer McGuire’s idea with using the stitched border dies from Lawn Fawn to cover the whole background. I just love the look of that stitching! I also adhered a few sequins which hopefully do not look out of place 😉

Help for my crafty friend’s brother – please take moment to read!

Hello crafty friends!

Krzysztof i mamcia 11902513_10206317820098098_8216095279948572349_n

Today I have for you a different type of a post for you. A post with a request.

My friend’s brother – Krzysztof, has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. It is a terrible disease and there is not much the doctors can do accept for chemoteraphy to which he is reacting very badly.

Here is the link to my friend’s Bożena’s website where you can read more information. It is in Polish but with a Google Translate anyone can read foreign languages these days. So please take a moment and help save Krzysztof’s life! –

Here is what my friend wrote on her post and I translated for you in English:

Doctors who treat him told me that at such young age this type of cancer is virtually incurable, it is a very aggressive and rapidly progressing type of cancer.

My brother is after 2 cycles of chemotherapy, during 1.5 months lost 8 kg. Before treatment weighed 70 kg (he was always slim), now weighs 62 kg. His body is reacting to chemotherapy very badly, as most of you know it is not a cute but treatment.

Therefore, we found a doctor of alternative medicine, who by strengthening and stimulation of the immune system treats cancer even in the very advanced stages. In his menthod he uses dozens of specifics of natural origin (natural chemotherapeutic agents) and hyperthermia treatments.

The clinic is located in Germany, and the doctor called Janus Vorretier. I personally got to 2 people he helped to heal with with his treatment and after 6 and 7 years they are still completely healthy. Their academically trained doctors gave up on them at the time they were sick saying there was nothing else they could have done – they were wrong.  Unfortunately, this treatment is a huge cost of 220 000 euros (this is the total cost of treatment for a period of two years. The costs cover the medicin, stay in the clinic, blood tests, the TC and the cost of   possible operation, if the condition improved and the operation would be possible.

I make an enormous request to all people of good will. If you can, share this message with as many friends as you can, please also include the link to my blog post.

Any form of help is important to me and appreciated. This is the only way I can get anywhere close to reaching the amount of money needed for the treatment.

I do not know how I could repay you for your help but you can leave any suggestions in the comments section:-)

At the moment there is only one more person involved in this fund-raising opperation so that this why I reach out to you my crafty friends, and members of the crafty community.

I know I can count on you and we are strong together as a community and always support each other in difficult times.

We have set up a few accounts so that people from all around the world could easily help out in this situation.

Here is my card I created for this week. I created a backround using my Crafters Workshop stencil with stars and I blended different colours to make it more fun. The image I used is from Bugaboo. I just love that cutie, I coloured her hair using Copic Ciao’s and the rest using Pro Markers. Then I layered yellow and blue cardstock and added some stitching using my white gel pen. Lastly I added a little border on top and bottom of the card using the border stamps from SSS stamp set Music to My Ears.
